KIMAGINE study

Karolinska Institutet Multimodal Advanced next-Generation
Imaging for Neuroscience Exploration

Research Overview

The KIMAGINE project aims to initiate a longitudinal, multimodal imaging project with the purpose of:

  • Establish multi-domain and multimodal data collection protocols and related data analysis methods at the absolute international forefront,
  • Explore how multimodal imaging data, together with OMICS and assessment/interview data, relate to individual variability and predict individual development across 5-year intervals
  • Form the basis for a reference dataset that offers benchmarks and contrasts for imaging researchers in neurology, psychiatry, ageing, and basic neuroscience.
